Describe the process you will retain
Record the incoming and outgoing material, operating pattern and the relevant machine connections. Distinguish a measured throughput limitation from a product-quality problem.
Provide the available operating data and identify which equipment must stay in service. Existing elevations, pipe sizes and access can determine how a new section is arranged.
Specify the intended improvement
Adding clarification changes the suspended-material duty. Adding concentration introduces a water-removal and utility duty. Increasing extraction requires a coordinated preparation and downstream liquid route.
Select the new machine against the measured feed and required outlet. A machine with a higher nominal capacity does not resolve every process bottleneck.
Check the change under different operating states
Define what happens during start-up, pauses, cleaning and a stopped downstream machine. Review buffer inventory, transfers, drains and isolation at the retained/new boundary.
Agree a practical acceptance run that evaluates the new section and its interfaces. Make the supplied scope and responsibilities clear in the equipment proposal.
