Process selection

A press extracts; a clarifier separates liquid solids

A belt press and a juice clarifier are not interchangeable alternatives. They work at different material boundaries: the press releases liquid from prepared feed, while clarification acts on the extracted juice.

Choose the press for its prepared feed

A belt-and-roller press distributes prepared arils and collects juice separately from retained wet material. Its selection includes feed condition, belt loading, residue removal and the agreed quality measurements.

Whole-fruit opening and aril separation are distinct preparation operations. A clarification machine does not replace those operations or the extraction stage.

Choose clarification for the juice target

Centrifugal, filter-aid and membrane routes handle different liquid-separation duties. Select the route after characterising the incoming extracted juice and the required product character.

Coarse preparation residues should be controlled before liquid clarification. Clarification cannot be assumed to correct an unsuitable extraction or preparation arrangement.

Describe where the equipment starts and stops

For a press enquiry, describe the prepared feed and where collected juice goes next. For clarification, describe the juice feed and outlet specification.

Where both stages are required, compare their transfer, buffer and cleaning connections as part of the supplied process boundary.
